FAISALABAD: The City Traffic Police (CTP) has banned entry of heavy transport vehicles loaded with sacrificial animals in the city areas.
The vehicles would be diverted towards goat markets via bypass roads and people will not be allowed to sell their sacrificial animals on roads, said a CTP spokesperson on Thursday.
He said the parking areas had been allocated near goat markets and strict action would be taken against the violators – as 35 traffic wardens have been deployed at the markets and barrier points had also been set up for their monitoring.
