– Shahbaz vows to take wrongdoers to task –
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and the party’s central leader Jehangir Tareen had got their loans written off. He vowed to take the wrongdoers to task.
The Punjab chief minister said that it was surprising that those elements who got loans of millions of rupees written off in the past were leveling allegations and talking of accountability. He said the time had come for across-the-board accountability of those who got loans written off while those who were clean should not be afraid.
