ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday said the revelations by Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav had vindicated the country’s longstanding position on Indian state-sponsored terrorist activities on its soil.
Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria in a weekly media briefing here said the confessional statement by the apprehended RAW officer had exposed Indian designs and motives against Pakistan.
He said the statement also proved that the finances were provided by Yadav’s handler in Indian agency RAW to carry out subversive activities in Pakistan.
Pakistan would raise the matter of RAW agent’s arrest with the European Union (EU) and in the United Nations (UN), the spokesman said, adding that Pakistan was deliberating over giving India counselor access to Yadav.
